The direction and target of the drifter must be accurate

In order not to lose the target, after determining the fishing location, insert the fishing rod holder, place the stool at the appropriate position behind the bracket, throw the float at the selected location, place the fishing rod on the bracket, sit down, and Find an obvious target on the other side of the river, such as a building, a tree or its reflection, a telephone pole, etc., and align your eyes, float, and the three points of the determined target. After making a nest at this location, press this direction and target each time. If you drift away, you won't be able to find the location of the nest, but be careful that the stool you make cannot be moved left and right casually.

If there are wooden piles, aquatic plants, etc. out of the water near the selected water area, you can use this as a label and visually check the distance and relative position. However, when choosing aquatic plants as signs, you should first pull them out with a fishing rod to see if they are floating weeds. If they are floating weeds, they will flutter in the wind and are not suitable for use as signs.

The range of each drift should be small

It is impossible to drop the float to the same position every time. But the smaller the range, the better, so that fish can find bait. According to general experience, it is better to be within one foot in diameter. The feeding method can be used to swing the pole. If the continuous drift method of long pole and short line is adopted, the range will be smaller and the position will be more accurate.
